Sometimes summer feels like a memory: hiding in the green spaces, the fresh air, the hot sun. Remembered only once you go outside and feel it on your skin.
With the recent repair on the 1/10 shutter on my Widelux F6 and my very first time using Kodacolor 200, I felt a new surge of inspiration. The slowest shutter on the Widelux is really where you can get creative with the camera, especially when it comes to motion blur.
Joy and I met up at Grand Central Market for tacos before heading over to the bottom of Angel's Flight for an impromptu meet-up with the good people of Silvergrain Classics. We got to chat about Widelux cameras, about the new model, and I came away feeling even more energized than when I had arrived.
Although I wasn't sure about this film stock at first, I think the colors really captured the vibrant feeling of the day. The city felt alive and warm. It felt like I was running straight into the open arms of summer.
